Creativity has been with me since childhood

Mendip Creative is the place where all of that curiosity, experimentation, and experience finally makes sense.

Simon has always been wired to figure things out. Not by reading manuals — by pulling things apart, experimenting, and seeing what happens. As a kid, he wasn’t just “playing” with computers.

he was programming BASIC on an Atari 800XL, decoding FSK signals from a cassette deck, making the machine flash disco colours in the dark, networking 8 bit machines between rooms, and building games from magazine listings.

He didn’t know it then, but that was the start of my modular thinking — breaking things into components, understanding how they connect, and building systems that work. That same mindset drives MC today.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s.

WE help brands communicate with purpose.

Not through random content, but through ideas that make sense — ideas that create attention, emotion, and momentum.

Concept advertising

Brand strategy

Creative direction

Content systems

Web experiences

Video production

Everything I create is built to feel modern, cinematic, and strategically aligned with your brand.

Concept first

Every project starts with an idea strong enough to carry a campaign.

Clarity always

If people don’t understand it instantly, it doesn’t work.

Cinematic feel

Clean visuals, intentional movement, and premium presentation.

Modular

The same mindset I had at age 10 — breaking complexity into simple, powerful components.
One idea becomes twenty pieces, built for social, campaigns, and long‑term use.

my story.

Before running a creative studio, I worked as a gardener — a trade built on patience, detail, and craft.

It taught Simon how to build things properly, how to solve problems, and how to see the bigger picture.

But creativity was always there in the background.

From the Atari experiments to early PC magazines, from BASIC programs to home‑made circuits, from projecting ocean floors onto walls to designing imaginary windows with birdsong — He has always been creating experiences.

That curiosity grew into skills across:

video editing
web design
print design
creative direction
advertising strategy
AI‑assisted production
large‑format print
music prompting
3D basics
content systems

Simon has coached athletes, built brands, designed campaigns, and created work that people notice.

Mendip Creative is where all of that experience becomes something useful — something that helps businesses communicate better.

WHAT We BELIEVE.

Creativity should feel human.
Brands should feel like people, not corporations.
And every piece of content should have a reason to exist.

WHO I WORK WITH?

I work best with people who value:

clarity
creativity
straightforward communication
concept‑driven thinking
premium presentation
long‑term brand building. – If that sounds like you, we’ll work well together.

ready to build something people remember?

{"wsx7704":
["post-204","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
